“Take good counsel and accept correction- that’s the way to live wisely and well.” – Proverbs 19:20

Let’s face it, life can be tough.   Sometimes, in spite of what we know and in spite of our best efforts, the challenges of life can overwhelm us.   At those times, we need someone who will remind us of the healing power of the Cross through Jesus Christ.

The Counseling Ministry was created to move the Mount Olive family towards an intra-disciplinary integration of Christian theology, spirituality, and psychology.   The ministry provides one-on-one Christian counseling for members and non-members who need help with family issues, their marriages, or other life-challenging situations.

The ministry utilizes the skills of trained Lay Counselors in meeting the needs of the congregation and provides the following services:

•      Individual Counseling (adults, teens, and children)

•      Family Counseling

•      Marriage & Relationship Counseling

•      Premarital Counseling (see “Weddings”)

•      Grief Counseling

•      Crisis Counseling

If you would like to schedule an appointment for counseling, please contact the Director of Counseling & Family Ministries at 954-463-5126 or lmorton@mountolive.org.

Upon scheduling your appointment click on the link below to access the “Intake Form”.   Print out the form and fill in your information. Upon arrival for your appointment, kindly hand your form to the counselor. This will save you the time of filling out the form when you get here.   Please note, one form per person, even in the case of marriage counseling (one per spouse).
