The strength of the church is based on the spiritual life of its members and families. God expects families to have mutually satisfying relationships (Malachi 4:6). He desires that husbands and wives experience unity (Matthew 19:5, 6) that parents “do not exasperate your children instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). The family is the ordained place where human beings can experience love to its fullest extent.
The Family Ministry seeks to support families through special ministry events that target the multiplicity of issues and challenges faced by families today. If you would like to assist in an upcoming Family Ministry event, please contact the Dir. of Counseling & Family Ministries at 954-463-5126 or lmorton@mountolive.org.

The Angels of Hope Ministry is a support group for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Because sustained life changes happen best within the context of support and community, the ministry provides a non-judgmental environment where individuals and families are spiritually nurtured and restored to faith, hope and fullness in Jesus Christ. The Angels of Hope Ministry works alongside other community and faith-based organizations to address issues relevant to HIV/AIDS.
The Angels of Hope Ministry meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30pm – 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Lay Counselors must love God and his people, and have a calling to see others restored to spiritual, emotional, and relational wholeness and healing. In addition to their training, Lay Counselors depend on scripture and on the Holy Spirit for insight and guidance when assisting others.
